Mission & non-profit
One room. Three prices.
Everyone at El Cielo gets the same week — the same room, the same table, the same hours with Diederik. What differs is what each person chose to pay, and no one in that room knows who chose what.
That is what being a 501(c)(3) is actually for. It lets the person who can pay more quietly make room for the person who cannot.
You are not broken or stuck.
You just forgot the truth of who you are.
Our mission
Choose Again exists to help people remember the truth of who they are — whole, loveable, and free — beneath the fear-based beliefs and self-constructed identities that convince them otherwise. Through the Six Steps, group work, and facilitators who have walked this path themselves, we don't build people into something new; we clear away what's been blocking the truth that was always there.
Our vision
A world where people no longer mistake their fear-based beliefs for their identity — where "who I think I am" gives way to who they actually are, and every person lives from truth and love instead of the story they were taught to believe about themselves.
Why the scale exists
Almost everyone hesitates over the number
Some hesitate because the money is genuinely hard to find. Others could write the check without noticing and hesitate anyway, having spent a good deal before on things that promised more than they delivered.
The scale answers both. It means nobody has to disclose anything to attend, and nobody is paying a premium for a better version — because there is no better version. There is one week, and one room.
It also makes for a better week. A retreat where everyone has the same bank balance is a narrower retreat. The people in that room have arrived from very different lives and find themselves working on remarkably similar beliefs — which is, for many of them, the most useful thing that happens all week.
Costa Rica · one week
Choose your own rate. Nobody is told which.
A week at El Cielo, all inclusive. You pick the tier your household can carry — there is no application, no means test, and no one on staff who will treat you differently for it.
Tier one
$2,700
Take this rate if it is the one that lets you come. No explanation is asked for, none is expected, and nobody will know you chose it.
Tier two
$4,050
The middle rate. If you can meet it without strain, this is the one to take.
Tier three · makes room for one more
$5,400
The difference between this tier and the first is almost exactly one other person's week. Choose it and someone who had decided they could not come, comes.
In every case
The same week
Same room, same table, same twelve people, same hours with Diederik. No tiers of access, no upgrade, and no record anyone sees.
What we will not do
Commitments we hold ourselves to
No pressure selling
No countdown timers, no scarcity language we do not mean, and no follow-up call you did not ask for. People arriving in distress deserve better than a funnel.
No claims we cannot support
We publish figures we can source and no others. Where a number would be persuasive but unverified, we leave it out.
We say when we are not the answer
This is not clinical treatment and does not replace it. If someone needs care we cannot give, we say so — including on a call we could have converted.
The method stays yours
The Six Steps are published in a book and given away in a free guide. Learn them once and you can run them for the rest of your life without us.

Where a gift goes
One chair, one person
We would rather tell you exactly what a gift buys than write a paragraph about impact. $2,700 is a full week at El Cielo, all inclusive, for someone who had already decided it was not for them. Smaller gifts go the same way — toward supported places in the monthly circle and toward counseling for people who cannot meet the rate.
You will never be told who your gift went to, and they will never be told who paid. We report what was given and how many places it made — never who filled them. That anonymity is the whole reason people are willing to take the help.

Most of the people who fund a chair sat in one first. They tend to know precisely what it was worth, and precisely what they nearly talked themselves out of.
